- No, not by default Ache states it does not train on your chats, and separately that it does not train on bring-your-own-key traffic. Note what that does not cover: on BYOK routes the upstream provider's own terms govern training and retention, so the answer there is whoever you pointed it at, not Ache.

- US operator The API is operated by a US entity, which is directly subject to US compelled-disclosure law.
- Who else is in the request path
- Cloudflare, Inc. Requests to this endpoint pass through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., US), which terminates TLS in front of the API. That means Cloudflare, Inc. decrypts the request and can see the Authorization header carrying your key. This is normal infrastructure practice, not a defect, but it is a party in the path that the provider's own documentation does not mention.

- Cannot call this endpoint directly A browser-based app cannot call this endpoint directly. A CORS preflight from https://www.byoaik.com returned no access-control-allow-origin header, so the browser blocks the response. A tool must route the request through its own server instead, which means the server sees your key.
- How long prompts are kept
- See the provider's terms Chats are kept until you delete them. The policy is unusually direct that there is no automatic expiry, so retention is indefinite by default and deletion is a manual act, which is a materially different posture from providers that age content out after a fixed window.
