Anarlog (formerly Hyprnote/Char) is an open-source, local-first AI notepad for meetings built on Rust/Tauri. Transcription runs on-device so audio never leaves the machine, and notes/transcripts are stored as plain markdown files on disk with no cloud backend. For LLM-powered summarization and note-merging, the end user supplies their own provider: the README states "Bring your own LLM: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio, or anything OpenAI-compatible."
