Stagehand lets you drive a browser with ordinary Playwright code and drop into natural language only where a selector would be brittle, which keeps automation deterministic where it can be. The model credential is passed explicitly in configuration, read from your own environment, and the library runs wherever you run it. Browserbase sells hosted browser infrastructure alongside it, but the library itself runs locally against a browser you control. MIT.
